The Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology Program will prepare students for professional careers developing systems, components, and processes to meet needs in a wide variety of industries. The Engineering Technology program includes a core of engineering sciences and provides a strong foundation in graphical communication, electro-mechanical systems, testing and experimentation, process control, and fabrication. The program includes a multi-disciplinary design sequence in which students from different programs in the engineering department work in teams to bring solutions to engineering design problems from concept to implementation. Students will complete a two-semester capstone experience that develops competence in both technical and non-technical skills. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to specialize in electrical or mechanical areas of study through major electives.
