The Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination certificate will provide students with an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of auditing, forensic accounting, and the detection and prevention of fraud. Students will apply forensic accounting techniques to support the detection and prevention of fraudulent activity within an organization through financial analysis. Students will learn how to conduct legal and ethical investigations and properly report identified fraud. Specifically, students will gain skills and experience in fraud prevention and detecting, risk management, ethical conduct, legal knowledge, and communications. This certificate covers content that is included in the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification exam but does not lead to CFE certification.
