The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences program is designed for professionals who aspire to enter or advance in their healthcare careers. This program provides students with exposure to concepts and principles within the general sciences, such as biology, chemistry, and physics, to provide foundational knowledge necessary to be successful in the healthcare specific courses. At its core, this program will provide students with the opportunity to develop essential skills such as communication, cultural competence, analytical thinking, and strategic decision-making, to better prepare for supervisory and managerial roles in diverse healthcare settings. With a focus on promoting culture of continuous improvement and patient care through the application of healthcare management principles, students are equipped to enter the various and evolving fields of healthcare. The Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences allows Allied Health professionals to advance in their careers or for students with prior science and/or healthcare coursework a seamless transfer of credits.
