Bachelor of Science
The B.A. in Law, Politics, and Societies blends insights from political science, legal studies, sociology and more to explore the legal, political, and social dynamics of societies around the world. It provides students with a solid foundation in the art and science of politics and the structure and function of human social groups in the United States and around the world. It also provides insights into what it means to “think like a lawyer” in the United States and beyond. We emphasize the use of critical thinking and analytical skills in political, legal, and other social contexts. We also emphasize being able to communicate on topics of political, legal, and social concern. These skills are essential for political, legal, and social service professionals. They also can be transferred to many other fields.
